Our head chef, BJ, is really turning up the heat in the highly competitve environment that is the eateries of Clare Valley. BJ worked for 6 years at the Belgium Beer Cafe in Adelaide before deciding to move here with his wife Jane after a weekend away, they fell in love with the region. Head Chef, BJ has created a new menu celebrating regional food and produce. The new menu features ala-carte, pubfare favourites, vegetarian and gluten free options too. BJ can also individualise your special function with canapes and finger food platters.
The wine cellar is very much part of the food facility and is accessed via a ramp in the restaurant. It can be used as a venue for special occasion dining or the source for a special bottle from hundreds of locally produced options on display.
The best way to end a meal here is to adjourn to the adjacent log fire lounge for a restorative coffee, liqueur or cognac.
And, when it comes to functions, the options on offer are virtually endless. The hotel offers a private boardroom, we have an outdoor dining area as well as a lawned beer garden.
